Position Description:  

VP/Sr. Director/Director, Manufacturing
Oversees all aspects of manufacturing processes. Participates in planning the overall manufacturing strategy for product development for drugs and delivery device for virus-based gene transfer products for advanced clinical trials. Manages the selection, contract negotiation, coordination with and performance of external CMO’s.

Degree in a biological, chemical or biotechnology engineering or related and 8+ years management experience in a cGMP biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment with small and large scale cell culture, fermentation and/or purification and medical devices. Experience with CMO selection, contract negotiation, and management. Experience with regulatory agencies (FDA a must, EMEA preferred).
