Sr. Scientist # 08-006ASGT
Current nonclinical programs focus on the development of gene delivery of growth factors for neurodegenerative disorders, including ocular diseases (e.g. retinitis pigmentosa, age-related macular degeneneration and glaucoma). Selected individual will conduct neuroscience research to support nonclinical development of Ceregene’s programs. Designs and executes experiments. Analyzes data, writes reports, prepares and gives presentations.

Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology , pharmacology, biology, or related field. Minimum five years post-doctoral or independent research and development experience. Experience with ocular disorders required. Experience with animal models of neurodegenerative disorders; nervous system histology and microscopy skills required.
