Position Description:  

We are looking for several post doctoral fellows to work in our research program to develop novel therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. The cross-disciplinary programs run in the labs of Profs Anders Björklund (www.wnc.se), Deniz Kirik (www.brains.wnc.se) and Cecilia Lundberg (www.wnc.se/sections/genetherapy) focuses on the mechanisms of disease, development of animal models, and the development of restorative cell and gene therapy.

The successful candidates are expected to experience in one or more of the following:

Recombinant DNA
Design and production of viral vectors
Stereotaxic surgical procedures
Histological analysis
Behavioral analysis or functional neuroimaging in rodents
