Position Description:  

Postdoctoral position: Research focusing on the development of therapies for glycogen storage disease type II (Pompe disease). Both gene therapy and enzyme replacement therapy will be evaluated in the mouse model for Pompe disease.

Experience Required:

• Strong molecular biology skills
• Experience working with animal models
• Background in biochemistry and human genetics is preferred.
• Previous experience working with viral vectors, especially adenovirus and AAV vectors, will be viewed as a strength

Required Credential: Doctoral degree: Ph.D., M.D.,Ph.D. or D.V.M.,Ph.D.
