Applying for Membership

Requirements

Individuals who have manifested an interest in any discipline important to gene therapy, cell therapy, or manufacturing technologies for gene and cell delivery, as evidenced by work in the field, are eligible to join ASGCT.

The Society does not discriminate in membership on the basis of race, religion, national origin, sex or disability.

Membership in the Society is a privilege, not a right, and is dependent on the applicant adequately demonstrating compliance with the requirements for membership as defined in these Bylaws and otherwise by the Board of Directors of the Society.

Membership is contingent on the timely payment of ASGCT membership dues.

Process

Candidates for Active or Associate membership shall submit an application to the Board of Directors. Any application so submitted shall be considered approved thirty (30) days after the submission of same to the Board of Directors unless the Board of Directors disapproves the application.
